연예계 공식커플 전진-이시영이 결별했다.
3일 오후 두 사람의 결별설이 불거지자 전진 측에서는 보도자료를 통해 결별을 인정했다. 반면 이시영 측은 말을 아끼는 분위기다. 이시영 소속사 GnG프로덕션의 한 관계자는 3일 오후 경제투데이와 전화통화에서 “결별한 것은 사실이다. 소속사에서도 이미 알고 있었던 내용이지만 남녀관계인만큼 결별 이유를 밝히는 것도, 정확한 시기를 말하는 것도 조심스럽다”고 말했다.
이 관계자는 전진 소속사 측에서 낸 결별 관련 보도자료에 대해 불편한 심기를 드러내기도 했다. 소속 연예인들의 열애와 결별로 공식 보도자료를 내는 것은 무리라는 입장. 이시영 소속사 측은 당초 두 사람의 열애설이 불거졌을 당시 전진 소속사 측에서 공식 입장을 밝히겠다는 계획에 대해서도 난색을 표한 바 있다.
전진 소속사 오픈월드엔터테인먼트는 보도자료를 통해 “전진과 이시영은 지난 3월부터 좋은 감정을 가지고 만나오다가 최근 결별을 했다”고 공식 발표했다.
이어 “전진은 가수활동과 더불어 많은 스케줄을 소화하고 있고, 이시영 또한 드라마와 영화 등으로 바쁜 상태다. 이 둘은 현재 미래를 위해서 각자 하고 있는 일에 최선을 다하기 위해 서로를 배려하는 마음으로 결별을 선택했다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 두 사람의 결별 기류는 지난달 말에도 한 차례 감지됐다. SBS주말극장 ‘천만번 사랑해’ 제작발표회에 참석한 이시영은 다소 침울한 모습이었다. 취재진의 질문에도 엷은 미소와 함께 짧은 대답만 한 그녀에게서 ‘꽃보다 남자’ 당시의 활기차고 당당한 모습을 찾아볼 수 없었다.
또 파격적인 불륜 커플을 연기해야 하는 것에 대한 전진의 반응을 묻는 질문에는 “관심이 고맙다”면서도 “하고 싶은 말이 많다. 말을 다 하려면 1~2시간은 걸릴 테니 공개 인터뷰에서보다는 개별인터뷰 때 하도록 하겠다”며 즉답을 피했다.
전진-이시영 커플은 올해 초 MBC ‘우리 결혼했어요’로 만나 사랑을 키워왔다. 4월부터 지속적으로 열애설이 불거졌으나 “친한 동료사이일 뿐”이라고 일축해왔다. 6월에는 또 다시 불거진 열애설에 대해 이시영 측은 인정, 전진 측은 부정을 해 사실상 열애중임을 암시했다.
결국 열애사실을 인정하고, 연예계 공식 커플이 된 사람은 그러나 교제 6개월만에 결별해 주위를 안타깝게 하고 있다.
